Solaris 10 - inquire command not working??

cannot see ADIC I2000 robot tape drives when running inquire -l command on Solaris 10.
Using Legato Networker 7.3.1 - legato is unable to see tape drives on Unix server. No problems with Windows. fibre cards are Emulex LP10000
.
Could anyone help??
