Solaris 10 guest on Linux qemu-kvm

3022054Aug 28 2015 — edited Aug 28 2015

I installed Oracle Solaris 10 1/13 64 bits as guest on a Linux (Fedora 22) 64 bits qemu-kvm 2.3.1 host.

I selected VMVGA for the video.

Solaris 10 installed correctly, and boots fine.

However, the mouse pointer is either rendered at the incorrect location (the pointer moves in a diagonal direction) or is not rendered at all.

During boot these warnings are displayed:

No SOF interrupts have been received, this USB UHCI host controller is unusable

Has anyone of you simular experiences? Did you find a solution? Do you have any suggestions about how to solve this?

BTW: using VirtualBox works fine.
