Solaris 10 09/10 fails to start X with NVidia card

Hi folks,
I've just set up a new workstation for Solaris 10 x86, but I can't seem to get X to start.
I've got two NVidia 6200 cards on PCI (as the board doesn't have PCIe yet) which should be fairly mainstream.
However, on startup I get in the syslog "[ID 702911] nvidia: nv_intr_setup_fixed: ddi_intr_enable failed. nv_setup_intr failed."
and then X throws me an error into /var/dt/Xerrors that it can't find any suitable device.
This makes me wonder, as there is also an ATI Rage2 onboard graphics chip which works fine with X when I remove the NVidias.
However, it is dead slow so I'd prefer to disable it again, or use it only for console, and X on the nvidias.

Has anyone got Solaris 10 running on that nv6200 or can enlighten me on what I may have misconfigured?
Other OSes (e.g. win2k3) run fine on all cards, so I can rule out a hardware defect.
