Solari 10 Display Problem

Hi,

I have installed Solaris 10 on my machine. During installation I accepted the default settings for display and all.
Now, when I start my computer it says:
"starting console login on display 0" and then nothing is displayed and I m not able to see the login screen. it displays some jumbled colors on the top and few dots on the screen.
Then, I started solaris in failsafe mode and tried to ran kdmconfig command but it says "file not found"
What should I do?
How do I change resolution settings?
