sol 10 iso cd burn

I've downloaded the sol10 iso for cds
I've read all the posts on burning the iso compilation
I've used nero 6.6 to burn the iso compilation
I have as a resut of this a cd with the solaris files(not just 1 iso) but the cdtoc files ,.install_config etc...along with the folder soalris_10
the cd looks good

I try & boot to it on a sunbalde100 & get bad magic number in disk label..etc...
I've wasted sevral cds trying to come up with something that will install..nothing works
I have the sol10 dvd but the blade only has a cdrom
so:
how to burn the iso's for cd?
is there a way to "cut" the dvd up?

any advice apreciated
