Snapshot too old (but undo size and retention not an issue)

HI Experts,
In a production database following are the undo related settings:
undo_management AUTO
undo_retention 10800
Database: 10.2.0.4 on HP OpenVms

A job running every day at 07.00 Hrs and 14.00 Hrs is encountering Ora 01555 error:
5-DEC-2011 14:00:10.29:
ORA-01555 caused by SQL statement below (SQL ID: gjvnpa6xcrkmp, Query Duration=0 sec, SCN: 0x0837.1a6abc5b):

ORA-01555 caused by SQL statement below (SQL ID: 42wvktmqq0rf9, Query Duration=2 sec, SCN: 0x0837.1a6abc50):

 5-DEC-2011 14:01:10.54:
ORA-01555 caused by SQL statement below (SQL ID: 7pbud44yv3dpa, Query Duration=53 sec, SCN: 0x0837.1a6abc50):
I have checked the sessions and there is nothing abnormal happenning, undo tablespace usage is normal during this time, database workload is also normal.

Is this a bug, as we are encountering these errors only during the said period and only for a minute or so.
I have also referenced the MOS note ID 104008.1, ID: 40689.1, but the conditions described therein dont match the pattern of errors in this case.

Your suggestions are welcome.

Thanks and Regards,
Rajesh K.
