This morning's level 1 rman backup succeeded. Just happened to spot an awkward file snapcf_$ORACLE_SID.f in $ORACLE_HOME/dbs. 11 megs of binary junk that just happened to end up in the dbs directory at the same time as the backup succeeded? Or am I having a problem that Oracle haven't told me yet? Oracle 11.1.0.6. Cheers Niklas.
