SMTP issue in ODI

We used to send/receive emails using ODI 11G (Oracle Data Integrator) with the help of Sendmail task. We configured our SendMail task using the host “xxx.domain.com”. But from today our SendMail task fails in ODI with the following error due to Invalid address

“ODI-1226: Step SendMail_task fails after 1 attempt(s).
ODI-1241: Oracle Data Integrator tool execution fails.
Caused By: com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPSendFailedException: 501 5.1.7 Invalid address”.

Kindly suggest me some ideas to fix the issue.
