SMON Vs PMON

Hi,

I have seen that out of the req bkrnd server process, its PMON which starts first ( as per alert log) everytime.

I would assume that going by the nature of responsibility these process handle, it should be the PMON which should start first.

Any comments or reason for this behaviour please..
