Smartview crashes Essbase

I am at a company that uses Smartview 9.2.0.3.0.005 with Essbase 9.2.0.1. When I asked why they did not use the latest Smartview I was told that they tried a newer version (9.3.0.???) and it caused Essbase to periodically crash when retrieving and the server had to be restrated each time. They then went back to their current Smartview version (above) and have not moved since. As they also have HFM it is likely that this happened when data from both apps was being refreshed at the same time.

I would like to know if anybody else has experience similar issues and if the latest Smartview is OK to move to. Thanks guys,
