From Smartview (11.1.2.5.520) I can successfully submit data to PLAN_TYPE A using a planning Web Form.
However, when I try to submit data (to the same intersection) in AdHoc mode all cell's are
grayed and I can't submit any data. I believe I've narrowed the issue down to how I've modeled
members in my Entity dimension between the two different plan types (A and B) of my application.
My Entity Dimension
E1
E11
In PLAN_TYPE A, only the Level 1 member (i.e E1) are valid for this plan type. In PLAN_TYPE B, all entity members
are valid (i.e both E1 and E11) Note: All Version members are Standard Bottom Up.
PLAN_TYPE A is designed to work with Level 1 members ONLY and PLAN_TYPE B is designed to work will all entity members.
I suspect that SmartView (in AdHoc mode) doesn't "see" that "E1" is actually a level 0 member in PLAN_TYPE A, but Planning DOES ????
If anyone can confirm this behavior I would appreciate this. I'm on Planning 11.1.2.4.X (Windows 64-bit). In the meantime, I'm going
to log an SR with Oracle Support.

Added word document that shows my actual Entity dimension in EAS. In the EAS screen shots athe actual plan type , PM, represents PLAN_TYPE A
and PLAN_TYPE B is actually the NIP plan type. Also included are screen shots of 2 different SmartView worksheets. One is planning Ad-Hoc and the
other uses a planning Web Form (both at same intersections) in the actual plan type: PM.
