Smart View returns VALUE for hsget formula

Ajay AlbertApr 19 2020 — edited May 4 2020

Hi,

We have users working with Smart View for many years. Of late, without any changes in any way, for few users, the hsget and hsdescription formulas are returning VALUE. The user is connected to a HFM application.

In some cases uninstalled and reinstalled Smart View and it works. For some users after uninstalling and reinstalling, hsget formula return proper data but hsdescription still returns VALUE, and vice versa. For some users where the error still persists, uninstalled Smart View and Office, and then installed Office and Smart View. And still the same behavior.

He have tried all combinations, .i.e. installed Smart View as Run as Administrator, Smart View versions 11.1.2.5.910, 11.1.2.5.8.

The current version of Hyperion is 11.1.2.3.700, IE 11, client OS is Windows 10 Enterprise 64-bit, some users are on Windows 10 Home Edition, Office 2016 (64 & 32 bit), Office 2013 (64 & 32 bit).

The same Smart View files are working with other users. Even if I build a formula using the Function builder the same errors persists.

We also deleted from the user param table for these users.

Request for any help.

Thank you.
