Smart View: Format negative numbers in parentheses

Hi,

I would like negative numbers to show as (#,##0). Is this possible without enabling the "Use Excel Formatting" option?

The Formatting tab of Smart View Options has DP, scale & thousands separator check boxes but nothing for negatives
