Slow Oracle on VMWARE

Hi

I have installed Oracle 11g XE on different Virtual Machines some running on XEN and some on VMWARE. Hardware configuration is almost the same. Oracle parameters are exactly same.

I have noticed that instances running on VMWARE write data very slow as compared to those running on XEN. SELECT statements work fine. INSERT/UPDATE are slow only.

I will be thankful if someone can help me if I can tune it on VMWARE?
