Integration

Hi,

I have recently installed an Oracle Application Server 10g based system (patched to 10.1.2.3), and all appears to be working fine.

However, on about half the client machines that are trying to access the system (about 12 out of 24), the first form is incredibly slow to load. However, once the first form has loaded, the rest are fine.
All clients are using Java 6u20 to connect and have the same Java settings, however half of these machines take ages to load the first form.
The CPU usage on the machines taking a long time to load is minimal (say 4%) so I don't believe it is a resource related issue.

As a diagnostic test, I have placed a large file (150MB) into the OAS forms folder and tried downloading it directly from the Application server on each client (i.e. http://IPADDRESS:7778/forms/FILE.EXE).
On the PCs that are loading quickly, this file takes around 30 seconds to download, however on the PCs that are running slowly, it ETA's at 1 hour to download (downloads at a rate of 51KB/s).

However, I have also tried downloading the same file using a shared folder in Windows Explorer, and this takes around 30 seconds to transfer on any machine (regardless of whether it is slow with the Application Server).

Do you have any ideas as to what may be causing this issue?
