Size of datafile

Hi,

If I have allocated 1GB to a tablespace, but the current usage is 500MB. And if i were to copy this tablespace to another location, what will be the size in the transferring? 1GB or 500MB?

If I sum up the size in v$datafile, will this give me the total size of all datafile?
