"single-task message wait event" what's the meaning of ?

Hello All ,

Someone knows what's the meaning of this wait event "single-task message" ?

The users reported performance troubles, everything is fine, except for this event appearing some times.

Environment:
AIX 5.1
ORACLE 8.1.7.4
