Simple Explain Plan - High Cost
Hi,
We have a table with some 28 columns and whose data types are simple CHAR, VARCHAR and number. It has some 10k rows which isn't much. But the explain plan of full table scan access query on that table shows too high cost. i.e around 1300. Earlier we had blog on one column but we removed it still the count remains the same. (we tried with and without stats gather)
Usually on our other setup's we don't really get such high costs even if records are much higher then the one we have now.
Could someone suggest what could have gone wrong?
