SIM Application Toolkit BIP TCP - OPEN CHANNEL

843851Sep 5 2007 — edited Sep 18 2007
Hi,

Greetings!

I am writing a SIM app which uses SAT BIP TCP. I need your help on following item:

1. What Open Channel command Buffer Size parameter signifies? The 3gpp release 99 doc says:

The Buffer size codes the number of bytes requested by the SIM in an OPEN CHANNEL command or what the ME can offer the SIM (placed in TERMINAL RESPONSE).

As Buffer Size parameter is only 2 Bytes size i.e. Max 65536 Bytes; can SIM application send or receive data larger than this? If yes then how it will do?

thanks
