shutdown immediate hangs for 30 mins

Hi,

my database is running on RAC .. it has two instances.. one instance closed immediately... another instance take 30 mins to down.

ARCH: Archiving is disabled
Shutting down archive processes
Archiving is disabled
Archive process shutdown avoided: 0 active
ARCH: Archiving is disabled
Shutting down archive processes
Archiving is disabled
Archive process shutdown avoided: 0 active
SHUTDOWN: waiting for detached processes to terminate.
