Shrinking Database size

Would someone please point me in the right direction for a good documentation/article on shrinking an 11.2.0.3 database size :

- without using Enterprise Manager

- with using Enterprise Manager.

Better still, if anyone could help by listing the required steps, that will be much appreciated.
