Hi there, I am pretty new to HFM and even newer to Reporting Studio, so forigive me if my terminology if lacking.

I need to create a report where it is possible for the user to specify the Period in the POV to whatever month of the current year they wish, but then the report should show them figures for December of the prior year as well as the figures for the month selected.

It appears to me that the only way of achieving this is to place Period in the columns area of the Dimension layout, but doing this means Period is removed from the POV. However, we have existing reports that were created for us where the Year dimenions is shown both in the POV and the grid, I just can't replicate this. I know it's not something unique to the Year dimension as I can start a brand new report and if I move the Year dimension into the columns area of the dimenion layout it does NOT appear in the POV, so some how the guy that wrote our reports must've been able to make dimension appear in both places.

Any ideas out there on this one?
