Should I bounce the instance after the vCPU count increase?

Hello,

This is 11.2.0.3 on Windows 2008 SR2 - 64, running on VMWare ESXi hypervisor. Single instance - No RAC. Enterprise Edition.

This VM has its available vCPU count increased recently (online, without shutdown), and they are effectively seen by Windows.

My question is: should the instance be bounced in order to "understand" there are new CPUs available? This DB runs 24x7 and there are no planned restarts in coming days so we'd like to keep it running if it is possible to avoid the unnecessary restarts.
