I have two ODA Appliances X4-2 and I want to reuse them as ESXi hosts. That's why I want to build a RAID1 with the two internal disks. But unfortunately the LSI controller (SGX-SAS6-INT-Z - SAS9211-8i) does not show the option for building a RAID.
I tried to update the firmware (with success), BIOS and so on. But it seems that the ODA disabled that function. Does anyone know how to build a RAID with that controller in a ODA X4-2 Appliance?
