SGD 5.2: Logged in user shows as colon separated instead of comma separated

We have SGD 5.2 integrated with OAM acting as sso provider.

When I login to SGD with my ldap credentials, the webtop shows the Fully qualified user name from LDAP but it shows up as colon separated instead of comma separated. For example on the webtop page the right pane will say

Hello, cn=John Doe:dc=acme:dc=oracle:dc=com

Instead I am expecting to see

Hello, cn=John Doe,dc=acme,dc=oracle,dc=com

How do I configure SGD so the separator matches my LDAP directory FQN, which is a comma?
