SGA Memory not shown up as a used memory in RHEL

I have installed oracle 9iR2 on RHEL 4.8 64 bit OS. Size of oracle SGA is 2.5GB but when I Check memory usage through System Monitor or Top command they only show 346MB of used memory. Why does linux System Monitor or top command not showing Oracle SGA memory as a used memory?
