Hi All,
I am trying to setup the EID Components for integration with EBS R12.1.3. Currently I am following the setup steps provided in the metalink note Installing Oracle E-Business Suite Extensions for Oracle Endeca, Release 12.1.3.4 (Doc ID 1562372.1)
As of now I have done the following:
1. Created a VM using vSphere Client and installed Oracle Linux 6 guest OS.
2. Executed the quickinstall file provided by Oracle i.e. EBS_ENDECA4.0_12.1.3.bsx which has created the following 3 folders under /u01 i.e. app, Oracle and diag.
3. Applied AR, SCM patches in EBS R12.1.3 instance (got the patches from V39077-01.zip file from eDelivery)
4. Updated the EidConfig.properties file under /u01/Oracle/quickinstall
5. Ran the envSetup.sh script and selected Phase 1 i.e. Database Setup
Now my issue occurs in step 5. I am getting the following error message:
Before running the script please ensure that the user is part of dba group.

Upating Oracle env file:
Done updating oracle Env file.
Creating db_.sh , environment file for Oracle DB:
/u01/Oracle/quickInstall/env/VIS_db_XE_env.sh
Sourcing oracle env file
Done Sourcing.
Upating Oracle env file:
Done Updating.
ERROR: ORA-12547: TNS:lost contact
Any help in resolving this Database setup issue would be of great help!!
