Setting up a PPPoE DSL Connection

807557Jun 18 2005 — edited Oct 31 2005
I cannot connect to the 'Net using Solaris 10.

I know the IP address of the Speedtouch DSL modem I have but it gives me network unreachable errors. Same if I try pinging it.

I know my DNS server numbers, if that's any help.

I've Googled, but everything out there is geared to Linux, which has a bunch of GUI tools for this purpose. Solaris doesn't seem to have one.

My host assigns dynamic IP's and uses DHCP.

Thanks in advance.
