APEX

I have an SR open with metalink but have been asked to raise this in the forum as well.

We have setup single signon using OAM and the page sentry function to retrieve the user name from OAM_REMOTE_USER (as set by OAM) on successful authentication.

We are now taking on a new app from a department with a lot of users and the licence costs for OAM preclude this as a solution for this app.
We are looking to use the APEX Listener deployed to weblogic utilising the security providers within weblogic to authenticate users against AD from a login JSP page.

We are able to get the authentication to work fine but are at a loss as to how we pass the username into the APEX app, we are unable to set REMOTE_USER or any other header varible via weblogic??

Any ideas or pointers would be much appreciated.
