setting PATH to read from /usr/local/sbin/:/usr/local/bin/

Hi

I use Solaris 9 SPARC. upon telnet, I need to set the PATH to $PATH:/usr/local/sbin/:/usr/local/bin/

How to affect PATH to the value of /usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/local/sbin/:/usr/local/bin/ once and for all?
