Set up APEX on the Internet

Hello

I have a private client who requires hosting their completed APEX application on the internet.

I understand I needed a static IP address, setup a Virtual Private Network with a firewall and a reverse proxy??

I would like to set up this up on my laptop for demo purposes with
(1) Oracle XE
(2) Oracle APEX 3.2 with HTTP Server

Currently I have windows XP professional and no other networking S/W on my machine.

As a networking novice, I would like to know how to

- steps to configure my machine to host my local APEX application on the internet

- what networking S/W I would need to install

- best IP provider options and rough costs

Any help would be appreciated on this.
