SET TIMING ON Question

Kodiak_SeattleOct 29 2008 — edited Oct 30 2008
Ok, I've searched and I know that using SQL*Plus I do

SET TIMING ON;

And then I execute the query right ?

I connect to Oracle 10g at work using TOAD which runs on windows, I don't really access the command line SQL*Plus utility.

Is there a way to do this from TOAD when I execute the query, I wanted to know how long it takes.

OR is there a way to run a Query against the system tables to see how long it took ?

If you are rude and a smart ass, don't reply. Only friendly people are welcome, rude people can stick a but plug up their behind, maybe
it will put a smile on your face, you never know.
