Set focus to specific Radio Button

647932Jul 27 2009 — edited Jul 28 2009
Hello

I need to alter a custom leave form. If an employee applies for 1 day leave, he has an option so select between a FULL DAY or a HALF DAY leave.

The HALF DAY radio button is selected by default. Or the focus is set on the HALF DAY radion button. But that causes a lot of problems as most employees tend to take a full day leave instead of a half day leave. But yet the HALF DAY radio button is automatically highligted. Now it would make more sense to automatically set the focus to the FULL DAY radion button as 99% of employees select the full day leave option. So how can I make it easier for employee. How can I set the focus to the FULL DAY radion button when the employee opens the form, so that he does not have to do it?

Currently the focus is set on HALF DAY leave radio button, which i have already mentioned was not well thought thru. Now my client wants to change this radion button option so the focus is set on FULL DAY radio button. And I fully agree with him as it makes more sense.

Now I have no idea what you do to set the focus on the radio button of your choice as i hardly ever work with Forms.

Can anyone maybe help me

Thanks.

ps...To put my problem in very simply: If I have 2 radio buttons on my form, can i choose which radio button the focus is set to? If so, how do i go about doing it?
