set dynamic height to JPanel

Hello,

I can find java Swing forums so I'm writing here. Maybe you could point me to right direction.

My problem is:
I have a JFrame and for JPanels on it. topPanel, bottomPanel, rigthPanel and leftPanel.
My question is how can I set the dynamic heigth to leftPanel? I have set the width for e.g. to 300. But I want that the panels height will be changing when the frame is size is changing.

How can I do this?
