Set AutoTrace

Hi
I want do auto trace.

I executed utlxplan.sql sucessfully.
I got some error while executing plustrce.sql.
errors where:

v_$sesstat
v_$statname
v_$mystat are not existed.

which script I have to execute for this?

And SET AUTOTRACE ON command gives error as "cannot set autotrace"

Please help me.
