Session Time out when multiple pages open

APEX 23.1

Auth: Social sign-in/Azure AD (Oauth2 single sign-on.)

I have a project that is made up of 4 applications. Application 1000 is the menu and auth application. It has a “Navigation Menu” that all other applications subscribe to. The other applications also subscribe to the Authentication schema from App 1000. App 2000 is a group of reports and custom form with a submit action. App 3000 is a group of reports for accounting. App 4000 is real time reports.

Our users monitor real time markets and have a need to have multiple pages from each app open at one time. So they may have app2000-page1, app2000-page4, app3000-page3, and app4000-page2 open each in it's own tab of a browser. Our Navigation Menu is set to Target Type: URL, and Link Target: _blank so that any page opened will open on a new tab. What we are seeing is that if you open app2000-page1 and then open app3000-page4(page you choose does not matter) then if you go back to app2000-page1 you will receive an error that “Your session has ended.”

In our settings for Session Management we have Deep Linking: Enabled. Rejoin Sessions: Enabled for all. I have changed these at the internal and workspace level to make sure they work. I have changed these setting in a number of different configurations but have not found one that will work.

In my Authentication Scheme I have Session Sharing: Custom and the Cookie Name: Same on all apps. I have also tried this with the Session Sharing: Workspace Sharing. The outcome is the same.

Is there a way to set this up so my users can have any number of pages(no duplicate pages) from any of the four apps open on multiple tabs at one time?

Thanks

Steve
