session parameters

Hello,

Can someone please tell me how can I find out what are the parameters in effect for a certain session. For example is some does an
ALTER SESSION SET OPTIMIZER_MODE ='CHOOSE' and someone else does ALTER SESSION SET OPTIMIZER_MODE='RULE' they contradict each other and I would like to know at all times which one is taken in a particular session.
