session not expiring when closing a browser

hello.

i set a session.invalidate when the user logs out and this works just fine.

what i noticed though is that when i exit the browser without logging out and then i type the url of the page in the browser, it can still go in, meaning the session hasn't been invalidated.

i would appreciate your insights.
