Can someone share a tip on how to display serial numbers in an interactive grid? I used rownum as ser_no in my SQL query, but the issue is that when the user sorts the grid data and prints the report, the serial numbers become disordered. Instead of using rownum, is there any other way to achieve this?
I’ve been frustrated for many days trying to find a solution. I’ve tried to get help from most AI tools, but everything has been in vain. AI suggested using JavaScript code through a dynamic action or to execute while the page loads, but nothing is working.
Is there any way to use PL/SQL code to achieve this? Sorry, I’m new to APEX but having more than a decade of experience with Oracle Forms and Reports. If someone could share a tip to achieve this, it would be a great help.
