Hi,

We have solaris 9 and using sendmail 8.1.

It is used only for outgoing. So used default main.mc. It can work for sending mails to external domains. But cannot sent to our company domain. Our company mail server have some security restriction - it cannot accept from any domain that doesn't have any MX records.

Since the sendmail is configured for only outgoing it doesn't have any MX records.

Our solaris domain name is archive.blitzgrp.com and our company domain name is blitzgrp.com. So thought that masqurading the solaris domain name to blitzgrp.com, will avoid checking for MX records. But if I use masqurading then I get "User unknown" error. It seems that it looks for the user in the solaris machine itself.

Any idea, how this can be solved.
