Sending email with PDF attachment

oa439661buNov 28 2006 — edited Feb 12 2007
Hello

I already use the demo_mail package to send simple e-mail (without attachment). I made some tests : i send an email with a PDF attachment wich is on my local PC, result : it is sent ok, i can open the PDF document. If i send the PDF wich is on the Database machine i receive the email but i can't open the PDF, i get the following message: Acrobat could not open the file because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been corrupted... . I tried the example from http://www.uaex.edu/srea/email_files.htm (without the Java thing...maybe i should do this too) but i receive the follwoing error -22289-ORA-22289: cannot perform FILECLOSE operation on an unopened file or LOB

Any sugestions would be a great help

Thanks
