Sending email with APEX

Hello

I would like to use a remote SMTP mail sever with Oracle XE on a standalone PC
I have a choice of 2 mail servers

Yahoo Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) - smtp.mail.yahoo.com (port 25)

Outgoing Mail Server - smtp.gmail.com (SSL enabled, port 465)

which are set up in the Admin page :

Home>Manage Service>Instance Settings>Email> SMTP Host Address :
SMTP Host Port :

In my test application I create a process to execute 2 apex_mail procedures

apex_mail.send and APEX_MAIL.PUSH_QUEUE when a button is pressed

No mail is sent and in the outgoing mail queue I receive error : ORA-29278: SMTP transient error: 421 Service not available

Is there something I am missing?
