Send e-mails for canceled notifications Problem

Hi,

I have an E-Business Instance, version 11.5.10 on which the users use Workflow Notification Emails for approving Purchase Orders.

ie, the user receives a PO notification mail asking them to approve. The workflow is configured so that if they don't respond to the initial email within 24 hours they get a reminder, then another 24 hours after that they get a final reminder.

However, when the reminders are sent, the workflow mailer also sends "Canceled" email telling the user that:

"You earlier received the notification shown below. That notification is now canceled, and no longer requires your response. You may simply delete it along with this message."

Users are getting confiused with this and thinking that the Purchase Order they have submitted has been rejected/cancelled.

I have followed instructions to disable this, which states that within the Oracle Application Manager, there is a Workflow checkbox for "Send e-mails for canceled notifications".

I have unticked this box, saved/applied settings so that it is now showing as "N".

However, the users are still receiving the "Canceled" emails and I'm not sure why.

I have stopped/started the maiiler service and bounced the instance several times.

Is there another step that I have missed out?

Any advice would be much appreciated!
