Select error: SQLState=01004 [oracle][odbc oracle driver] data truncated

I have encountered an error message while working with an Oracle 7 database.
The error states the following:
SQL Code 2 encountered
Select error: SQLState=01004 [oracle][odbc oracle driver] data truncated column 2

I am not very familiar with Oracle and I am looking for assistance on how to fix the table so that I can get the program up and running again.
