Segmentation fault on Linux

Hi,
I try to install oracle 9.2.0 on several linux boxes (RH7.2, RH9, Slack9) and after a good installation (no warning) I try to use sqlplus with the line :

sqlplus scott/tiger
or
sqlplus scott/tiger@erp
or
sqlplus scott/tiger@erp.mydomain.com

and, each time, I receive a "segmentation fault".

Have you an idea ?

One of my system is :

Duron 1.3GHz
640 MB of RAM
40 GB of HD

Of course I change shmmax (up to 3000000000)
