For the passed couple of days, the automated Segment Advisor (Auto Space Advisor) is running an excessive amount of time and generating a lot (and I mean a lot) of redo/achieve logs. It first happened some weeks ago (with the segment advisor) failing to complete properly for a couple of days and then it ran correctly for weeks but it has started to happen again. I've looked around on the net and it seems that it could be a possible bug in our version of Oracle / Em (11.2.0.2). For the time being, I've turned off the segment advisor (from within Automated Maintenance Tasks) But I was wondering if anybody else has experienced this issue and if so, is this a bug that will be created in later versions ?
