Security of OBIEE 11g with Essbase (Unbalanced Multiple Hierarchies)

Hi everyone,

I have an Essbase cube, with several dimensions. One dimension, say Product, has several alternate hierarchies (using shared members) as the children. The main hierarchy in this dimension is 10 generations deep, but the alternate hierarchies might not be 10 generations deep (5, 6, 7, 8, or 9 for example). So, the hierarchies are actually unbalanced.

How am I able to apply the security in OBIEE for a user who has access to Product Category (generation 5) = 'Cat A' so that when that user see the other alternate hierarchies, he can see the descendants of Cat A in those alternate hierarchies properly?
