Secure Remove / Secure Delete / Wipe

Dear Oracle Linux Forum,
I am looking to implement a script that securely wipes out input data files after calculations based on these files have completed. I assumed there was a secure remove/delete app much like Microsoft's sdelete. So, I scoured the web. Low and behold there were three, srm, secure-delete, and wipe according to this page.

However, when I try to go and install any of them via yum, none of them work. Any ideas?
