Secure dads.conf

FormsMar 13 2010 — edited Mar 13 2010
Hi Gurus,

I am currently using mod-plsql using Oracle HTTP server, to connete to the Apex engine from the web browser.

In order to achieve this, i have to set the dads.conf file, with all secure information like, apex_public_user password, host, port, SID etc...

I dont want to expose these info on the dads.conf file. Is there any other way of putting these info so that APEX works.

Also is there any way i can hide the ip_address, port etc on the url for an APEX application. In java world we have the deployment decriptor to accomplish it.

I would like to do the similar approach.

Also is there any material where i can use APEX listener to configure APEX instead of HTTP Server. How is the licensing issue for that. We already have Oracle Application Server 10g license.

Thanks and Regards,
