Secondary (Slave) Drive Installation

I want to perform a clean install of Soloaris 7 & 8 on my secondary (slave) HD. Is this possible or will I have to switch the controller jumpers?

Also, I want to install multiple OS environments, including Solaris 7 & 8, Linux, Windows98, NT 4, and Free BSD, on my "Developer" machine environment. Is this possible? If so, does anyone have any install/config pointers?

My "Developer" machine environment includes:
Microsoft Windows 98 4.10.2222 A
AuthenticAMD AMD-K62-350(tm) 3DX processor, 100Mz Bus
124MB RAM,
Primary Drive C: 8GB
Secondary (Slave) Drive F: 10GB
